Caitlin Morton, 21 is volunteering at a refugee camp/orphanage near Nairobi, Kenya.
After only a short time in the country, Caitlin experienced first-hand some of the difficulties faced by foreign aid workers.
"She was robbed," admits mum Nicola Morton.
"She also wants to bring all the children home."
There are more than 100 children at the camp ranging in age from 18 months to 14 years.
Nicola describes her daughter as a real humanitarian and says she is very proud of her.
Caitlin will attend university next year to study politics.
