"It absolutely devastates me," said reptile lover Andy.
Wingham-based Andy is known locally as the go to person when an unwelcome snake appears at home or work.
He regularly gets called to capture snakes safely and release them in a more appropriate bush environment.
But recently Andy has noticed an increase in the number of calls he has received from people who haved killed the snake before he arrives.
This is something Andy would prefer people didn't do.
"Just keep an eye on it until I get there," asks Andy.
He will swiftly arrive, now having replaced his bushbike with a motorbike, to save the day, and of course the snake.
But if the situation changes before Andy arrives, please let him know.
Turning up to find a dead snake and then being asked to dispose of it, is not part of his free, from the heart service.
"Please just stop killing them," he pleads.
You can call Andy on either 0434 677 366 or 0475 220 992 if a live snake turns up at your place.
