The album was recorded live at the Wickham Park Hotel and The Junkyard Maitland with his long time collaborators bassist Bill Jacobi and drummer Dave Marsalis.
The band have been highly regarded over the years for the energy and intensity of their live shows and this is the first time they have released a live album.
"Our fans have asked for a live album for a while now and we've put a lot of the tracks they have requested on this album as well as a couple of new songs that have been added to the show recently," said Floyd.
"The album title is a tip of the hat to Mozart's 'A Little Night Music' and probably comes from my early start as a classical musician and my memories of our shows in Germany over the years. Don't be fooled by that, though - this is indie world music and rock/pop.
"In mixing this album I thought to myself, 'What would we sound like on a good night if you sat at the mixing desk?'
"I also programmed the setlist on the album the same way as I would have done for one of the gigs.
"I kept the live ethos in mind all the way. We had recorded a few shows and I went for the best performances. There is no auto tune on this album.
"The interaction between musicians thats been captured comes from people who know each other's playing well and have worked together for a long time. There is a lot of intuitive improvisation going on."
The album will be available at the Akoostic Festival and will also be available from their website www.floydvincent.com mid October. It will be distributed nationally by MGM Distribution from December 5.
Catch them at the Festival on Saturday October 18 at 4pm.
