Australia's own gypsy-ska rockers, Caravãna Sun have returned from their third European summer tour after the international launch of Independent album release AYA.
Still thriving on the high from playing to foreign festival crowds throughout Malta, The Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria, France and Portugal; Caravãna Sun are rolling right on in to their homecoming Jackal in the Night tour.
Before leaving the country Caravãna Sun were making waves up and down the east and west coast beginning with the launch of their second independent album, AYA at the renowned Oxford Art Factory.
A 46-show national fiesta tour followed made up of headlining shows and a support set with Fat Freddy's Drop on Scarborough Beach, WA.
The Jackal in the Night tour celebrates the final single from AYA, which was recorded in an old water tank come studio nestled in the mountains close to Australia's famous surfing coast by Govinda Doyle in just over a month.
The band has long been praised for the raw energy and emotion injected into their live shows, and the resonating effect this has on their audience.
Caravãna Sun purposefully went into the studio aiming to capture the essence of a live performance for the recording of AYA.
Caravana Sun will be appearing on stage at the 2014 Akoostik Festival on Friday evening October 17.
Don't miss this great event being held at the Wingham Showgrounds Gloucester Road Wingham.
