HSC study nights will provide students with a space to study, access to free printing, internet and Wi-Fi, plus there will be refreshments to ensure energy levels don’t fall during the night.
“We aim to run several study nights each year to support HSC students during this important time, said Danielle Old, events coordinator for Manning Valley Libraries.
“The library is a great space where students can focus and have all the necessary resources at hand, including reference materials and databases.”
Taree Library will be running the HSC study nights on Wednesday September 24 and Wednesday October 1 from 5pm to 8pm.
Wingham Library will also run a HSC study night on Wednesday October 8 from 5pm to 8pm.
“Although we encourage HSC students to attend the study nights, for those that cannot make it, Manning Valley Libraries are open Monday - Friday from 10am – 5pm and Saturday mornings from 10am.”
“All the libraries have comfortable seating and study areas and Taree Library even has a café open during normal hours,” said Danielle.
Students are encouraged to take up this opportunity for additional study support.
Bookings are not required HSC students can just turn up.
