The events coming up include:
Saturday September 20 a stableford event will be played for the Wingham Cellars Trophy.
Sunday 21st will be the Australian Insurance Solutions Mixed Foursomes Championships.
There are spots available.
On the 27th the Wingham Caltex Trophy will be played in a stableford event.
Veterans Golf
On Wednesday 46 players went around in a stableford event, the winner was Adrian Yeo with 39 points on a count back from David Elliott who counted back Peter Tait 39 points who finished third.
The sharp shooters were n the third and 12th Terry Morris, seventh and 16th Daryl March with the OBE trophy taken out by Ernie Starling.
LJ Hooker Real Estate Thursday Chook Run
With Steely in the club crowing about his 23 points, Craig Harrison came in with a big 24 points with a bust which relegated Steely to second place.
Third place was taken out by Jim Bradshaw on 21 points.
The NTP on the third was taken out by Mark Fotheringham with Ken Squires winning the seventh.
Ladies Friday Golf
The winner was Narelle Smith, ball winners Marcia Fowler, Dot Clarke, Mary Stevens, Debbie Stewart, and Ruth Woodward.
NTP winner was Pat Marcus and the 45 marker winner was Binny King.
Saturday golf
A stroke event was played for the Taree Motorama Monthly Mug and Wingham Beef Exports trophies the winner Brian Roberts 73 net on a count back; he also wins the MRD Electrical Medal for B grade.
The A grade net and medal winner was Glenn Thorburn 73, B grade net Earle Braham 74, C grade net and medal Larry Thompson 73.
The scratch winners were A grade Reid Brown 78, B grade Denis McKeough 91, C grade Andrew McLeod 94 c/b.
The Kangaroofing Long Drives were won by Glenn Thorburn winning A grade, B grade Russell Evans.
C grade Andrew McLeod.
Putting was won by Paul Primmer back from touring around the country.
The NTP winners were on the first and 10th Wingham Plaza Butchers Jim Weeks, third and 12th Wingham Gourmet Meats Matt Brislane, fourth and 13th All About Conveyancing Jim Weeks, seventh and 16th Bayview Seafood John Turner, ninth and 18th Bent on Food Paul Primmer.
