Sesqui project manager, Sally Piracha was overwhelmed with the success of the weekend's events, describing it as "beyond anything she could've hoped for".
Weather delayed the start of proceedings on Friday when 500 students from Wingham Public School and Wingham Brush Public Schools waited out the morning showers before enjoying a huge Tabloid Sports Day in Central Park.
Saturday was Sesqui's biggest day, with both primary schools welcoming the public to inspect their schools and meet up with old friends.
Wingham Brush Public School, whose buildings date back to 1877, hosted a huge photo shoot for former students and teachers who attended the school before 1960, and Wingham High displayed their modern facilities and students' major works on Sunday.
At Saturday night's official reception, Member for Myall Lakes Stephen Bromhead cut the birthday cake with Mrs Joyce Martin, who attended school in Wingham in the 1920s and 1930s.
