Group Three Rugby League minor semi-finals moved to Jack Neal Oval

GROUP Three Rugby League's minor semi-finals on Saturday have been transferred from Old Bar to the Jack Neal Oval at Chatham.

This follows a field inspection at Old Bar by group officials on Friday.

"Old Bar was just too wet,'' group secretary Barrie Smith said.

"It would have been a quagmire by the time the first grade started after the three minor grades.''

Matches will start at 10.55 with the league tag between Taree City and Old Bar.

Wauchope and Forster-Tuncurry meet in under 18s from 12.05 while Wingham tackles Port City in reserve grade at 1.25.

The first grade featuring Old Bar and Port Macquarie kicks off at 3pm.

There'll be a big weekend of rugby league at Wauchope.

On Saturday the Group Three Junior League grand finals will be decided while Hastings League semi-finals will be played on Saturday night.

On Sunday the Group Three major semi-finals will be played. Minor premiers Wauchope plays Macleay Valley in first grade from 3pm.

Forster-Tuncurry clashes with Wauchope in the league tag at 10.55 while unbeaten Port Macquarie meets Wingham in the under 18s at 12.05.

Macleay and Port Macquarie do battle in reserve grade at 1.25.
