The store held its official opening on Saturday August 9 with special guest, author Di Morrissey.
"Thank you so much to everyone for helping us to feel so welcome in our new home," said owner Nicky.
"We have had so many visitors," she said.
Manning Valley Books rose from the ashes of the Angus and Robertson demise in February 2011 and has managed to grow its customer base despite strong competition from online buying and discount stores.
Moving the store from Taree to Wingham was a big decision for owners Nicky and Glen Stevens.
"It feels good," said Nicky
"People have been popping in just to say 'welcome,'" she said.
Customers are enjoying the large selection of books and ABC products on offer.
"It's so wonderful to have a bookstore in Wingham," enthused customer Christian Fieldhouse.
The new shop has been completely refurbished with Glen and his team of carpenters fitting out the shelving and the counter.
The shop also has all new lighting, carpet and paint.
Manning Valley Books is located on Isabella Street next to Bent on Life, Wingham.
