The Tigers played a fair and entertaining game as they know best . Well done to all the effort and hard work the boys put in all year as that was the last game of the season. Special thanks to popular coach Jon Puliuvea, who turned these boys into footy stars of the future, as it was his last game. He will be missed by these young Tigers.
Under eights
WHAT a great year it has been for the under 8 Tigers junior rugby league team.
To start off the weekend we headed to Taree to take on the Panthers. It was another great team effort from the Tigers showing great attacking and ball skills to cross the line for some great tries . But once again it was the Tigers defence which was the highlight, as it has been all year.
The Tigers ran out winners 11 tries to 1.
We then headed to Laurieton on Sunday for the gala day where we took on the Wauchope Blues and the Port Sharks. The little Tigers showed why they are number one showing the northern sides how to play by putting on great try's from all parts of the field and making some great tackles, shutting down the opposition every time. The Tigers ran out winners in both games.
What a great season and a great bunch of boys. Many thanks to Jett Gilbert, Lleyton Moore, Jack Baker, Jonathan Aitken, Aiden Lewis, Reuben Ruttley, Cooper Young, William Hansen, Logan Buddle, Mason Lewis, Tyson Hall, Lochaln Dawson, Dylan Kennett, Nate Dawson and their families.
