Since 2003, the Wingham Farmers Market has been a great source of fresh local produce. Enjoy the friendly atmosphere while supporting the local community. If it’s grown, baked or made sustainably in the region it’s welcome at Wingham Farmers Market.
When: First Saturday of every month, regardless of weather

Inaugural Wingham Rotary Car Boot Sale
The inaugural Wingham Rotary Car Boot Sale will also be held at the Wingham Showgrounds at the same time as the farmers market.

A medium grade walk on Tip Riders bike tracks off Buckets Way will be held on Saturday.

Craftathon
Taree Craft Centre Presents - Craftathon 2014

Weekend Sport
Just two matches in Group Three Rugby League's split round will be decided on Saturday.
Taree City will host Old Bar at the Jack Neal Oval while Forster-Tuncurry travels to Wingham to take on the Tigers.
Should Old Bar and Wingham win and Port Macquarie is successful next Saturday the places in the semi-finals won't be determined until the final round on August 16, when Old Bar plays Port Macquarie at Old Bar.

Wingham farmers Vernon and Nicolle Brown have joined with Devondale Murray Goulburn to supply milk for Coles supermarkets.
Australia's largest dairy food company has recently secured a ten year contract to supply milk to the supermarket chain and sought to secure NSW farmers to help fulfil the contract.
This month the company will open an $80 million state of the art processing plant in Sydney that will be able to process 50,000 litres of milk an hour. To read the full story and see a video click here
