Mullens is one of the favourites for the women's cross country mountain bike event.
The BMBC is staging a Pot, Parma and Peta event on Tuesday night at the One Tree Hill Hotel in Spring Gully.
"Peta is a great chance to win the gold medal, so we thought it would be great to have everyone together to watch her ride and cheer her on,'' BMBC's Joel Rockes said.
The hotel is offering a $16 special for a pot and a parma and the race will be shown on the big screen.
"We'd love to pack out the pub and create a great atmosphere,'' Rockes added.
The race is scheduled to start at 8.30pm (AEST).
Rockes said Mullens' biggest rival for the gold medal would be Australian team-mate Bec Henderson.
"Bec defeated Peta at the national championships, but I think this course might suit Peta better,'' Rockes said.
"Peta has done a lot of work on the road recently and, if it gets down to a sprint finish, she might have the edge on Bec. It should be a great race."
