In the Buddhist tradition dealing with blame and resentment is understood as being caused by lack of forgiveness for past actions by others or even toward ourselves.
As everything in our lives is governed by cause and effect, blaming others or resenting others is not forgiving them or dealing with the pain we unwittingly accumulate over time.
There are other triggers such as anger and loneliness which contribute to these feelings too and renowned Canberra based Buddhist teacher Lama Choedak understands how to help us do away with these destructive emotions.
He is visiting the Manning Valley this month to give a talk on Friday August 1 at the Taree Art Gallery at 7pm on “Dealing with Blame and Resentment.
Everyone is welcome to attend.
