The meeting opened with the National Anthem, the Red Cross and Red Crescent Pledge before members paused to remember the victims of Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 and family members and friends who have passed away since the last AGM.
Reports were presented by president Judy who thanked her branch members for their support and help throughout the year, secretary Pam Muxlow outlined the activities undertaken by the branch during the year whilst treasurer Bev Clancy presented the financial statement of the branch which show that the branch has raised a total of $3,000 for the year to help the humanitarian work of the Australian Red Cross which turns 100 years old during the month of August.
With all reports presented, the various positions within the branch were declared vacant and president Judy invited Zone Rep Eugenie to conduct the election of office bearers for 2014-2015.
All office bearers were returned unopposed with the only change being member Denyse Budd elected to fill the position of assistant secretary.

Congratulations to Tinonee Red Cross member Alma Murray who went home with a lovely meat tray from the day, I am sure she will enjoy it.

Talented Young Duo performs at Wingham
HAD the pleasure of being able to enjoy a talented young country duo of Amelia Richards and Matthew McNeilly "NeillyRich" perform at Wingham Services Club last Friday evening.
Matthew born in NZ and Amelia born in Kempsey, have been performing together for a while, taking out a number of awards at Tamworth Music Festival and also in New Zealand and recently became engaged.
The duo played for around two and a half hours and took requests from the floor during their time on stage.
The young couple's tour is taking them up the Mid North Coast; they were performing at Kempsey the following evening and have a busy schedule ahead of them over the coming weeks performing at venues around NSW.
Packed house for Choral Society Performance
ABSOLUTELY fantastic, wonderful performance, beautiful music, a great selection of songs and some great voices were amongst the many comments that followed the Manning Valley Choral Society's 'Magical Mystery Tour -2014' performance staged at Tinonee Memorial School of Arts Hall on Saturday afternoon July 26 to a packed house of folk from all over the Manning Valley.
The choir under the direction of Kim Billingham were brilliant and gave a full on show of almost two and a half hours.
During the interval, Tinonee Memorial Hall committee members Jenny, Jan, Helen and Pam were flat out serving the audience and performers with a delicious afternoon tea and they in turn would like to thank everyone who supported the hall committee's efforts - the ladies had no idea how many patrons would be present but they were all fed and they too were very complimentary of the service given.
Goodbye to Rev Laurie Davies, Locum, Wingham Anglican Parish
LAST Sunday morning members of Wingham Anglican Parish at both St Luke's Tinonee and St Matthew's Wingham said farewell to their temporary locum Rev Laurie Davies and his wife Barbara who has been with the Parish since late May following the retirement of Rev Barry Prinable.
It has been a pleasure having Rev Laurie with us and his wife Barbara when she could make it, remembering that Laurie travelled from Camden Haven to be with us for our services.
Rev Laurie announced that the Parish has had a new Rector appointed, the Rev Brian Troy Ford and his wife Kara and young sons who will take over on October 13 when his installation into the Parish will take place.
The time in between will be filled with another locum whose name has not yet been advised but all are sure he will be made most welcome during his stay with the congregation members.
