On Wednesday the veterans played for the July monthly medal. Winner with a great 64 nett was Rex Burrell from Dave Andrews on 67. Third place was taken out by Gordon Shanko with 68 net on a countback.
NTPs 3rd/12th David Blair, 7th/16th John Strybis, 9th/18th Kevin Morris. The OBE winner was Neville Hall 78 nett.
On Friday the women played their weekly event and the winner was Beth Braham. Ball winners were S Juozaitis, R Dudgeon, P Marcus, B Tonkin, J Baker, P Whiteley. Best 45 marker was N Smith.
With Saturday dawning cool but fine 58 players hit off for the Taree Motorama monthly mug, the MRD Electrical monthly medal, Kangaroofing long drives plus Tubby's balls.
Winner, blowing everyone off the course was Garry Croucher with 67 nett.
A-grade was won by Murray McCartney with 72 nett, gross winner was Rohan Abbott 80 c/b, B-grade nett Ashley Armstrong, gross Matt Hardy 85, C-grade nett Alex Kees 71, gross Peter Tair 94.
The medal winners were A-grade Murray McCartney, B-grade Ashley Armstrong, C-grade Gary Croucher.
Sharp shooters winning the NTPs on the 1st and 10th (Wingham Plaza Butchers voucher) Franz Schubert, 3rd/12th (Wingham Gourmet Meats) Terry Maney, 4th/13th (Bent on Food) Geoff Swaffield. Caddy's shot of the day was taken out by Gary Croucher, the Kangaroofing long drives were won by Reid Brown for A-grade, B-grade Terry Harris, C-grade by (guess who) Gary Croucher, What a big day, you're hot you're hot.
