A great turn out and a pleasant surprise regarding the number of people who turned up and took advantage of the nice weather. They had the chance to hone their skills on the 30 plus 3D rubber feral targets that had been placed among the forest on our grounds.
This was not a point scoring shoot for association results but a fun event that our president had worked on with a variation on his own introduced scoring system. It was a let down for some who believed they had accomplished a winning total only to find they were really now at the bottom of the list. The results were all excepted in good fun especially when the winners were announced as two cubs, Zac Davies was first and Jarrad Van Der Kadden second with senior member Brad Grauls third.
At our indoor venue located in the Wingham Showground we are still guiding and helping potential people to become accomplished archers with our introduction to archery program every Thursday at 6pm. With both advanced and learning lanes are available, we cater for all ages and genders and all the equipment is available to get you started.
A constructive club meeting was also held recently with some building and painting requirements on the agenda. The emphasis is still focussed on promoting our club and membership so as to still carry out the respite weekends and cater and help out the other local volunteer organisations as needed.
