This will be held at the club's Urara Lane track in Taree. Racing will start at 10am with the finals from 1pm.
There'll be a truncated round of Group Three Rugby League matches this weekend as it is a split round with only two games. Both will be in Port Macquarie. On Saturday Port City hosts Old Bar while on Sunday Port Macquarie tackles Wauchope.
Manning Ratz will be looking to regain some confidence in the Lower North Coast Rugby Union game against Wallamba on Saturday.
The Ratz are still reeling from a 71-17 mauling they received at the hands of competition leader Forster-Tuncurry last Saturday. In other games Old Bar faces a difficult day against Forster while Myall Lakes meet Gloucester.
Two sides desperate for a win and coming off ordinary performances will meet in the Football Mid North Coast Premier League when Taree and Macleay Valley clash at Kempsey on Saturday. The Wildcats were held to a 1-1 draw by last placed Wingham the previous match while Macleay was thrashed 6-0.
Old Bar also needs some points in the game against competition leader Wallis Lake while Wingham will be at home to Camden Haven. Port FC meet Kempsey Saints while Port FC and Port Saints meet in the other fixtures.
A field of 31 will tackle the Coopernook Sprint Rally to be held in the roads in the Coopernook, Lansdowne and Middle Brother State Forests. This will start at 4.30 from the Coopernook State Park on Saturday afternoon. The first car is expected home at 8.30. The Central North Coast Sporting Car Club is the host.
Taree Greyhound Club will conduct a 12 event program at the Kanangra Drive track from 12.35 on Saturday.
Overseas and Taree West Cricket Club product Nick Larkin will make his debut for the Ireland A side next Friday in the clash against MCC in Dublin. An opening batsman, Larkin hopes to be included in the Irish side for next year's World Cup to be played in Australia and New Zealand. He qualifies for selection through his grandfather on his mother's side.
Larkin now plays for Sydney University.
