WINGHAM Warriors Football Mid North Coast Premier League teams sponsored by Wingham Bowling Club travelled to Port Macquarie to take on Port Saints with two very depleted sides.
Injuries have plagued both teams unfortunately and left us calling up under 16s to step up and play in the top grades.
The young lads took time to handle the pace of premier league, but overall did a good job and now have been blooded and will only grow with more experience. Saints won 5-1.
The club's Newcastle contingent return home for the university break and this will help with our team structure.
The Warriors take on the Taree Wildcats at Omaru this Saturday and would like as many supporters as possible to turn up and be one voice and cheer our sides home. Reserve grade kicks off at 1.15pm with first grade at 3pm.
