Weekend preview: SPORT in Greater Taree kicks off again this week after a break for the long weekend.There are some crucial games in the Football Mid North Coast Premier League. Wingham takes on Port FC at Wingham in what could be a season defining clash for the home side.

Theatre: As part of the Manning Winter Festival, the Upper Lansdowne Players will present two different one-act plays in four locations. FIFA World Cup in Wingham: Australia vs chille in the World Cup Saturday morning, game starts at 8am.  The top pub in Wingham will be open for this event and will have sausage sandwiches and bacon and egg rolls for any one who wishes to come .
