Petition: KERRIE Renee Dance Studio, Wingham has recently taken on the task of petitioning for the Taree and District Eisteddfod to introduce 'small school' dance sections onto the program. The issue will be tabled at a meeting with the eisteddfod committee in July.

Akoostik: MUSICIAN Bill Chambers will perform at an exclusive event in Wingham on Thursday, June 26, as the artist lineup for the upcoming Akoostik Festival is announced.Chambers, father of Kasey Chambers, is an ambassador for the award-winning Akoostik Festival, which is held annually in Wingham in October.

Playgroup: MONDROOK Living and Learning Village has established a Steiner inspired playgroup for mothers and 0-5 years of age children on Mondays from 10am to noon during school term. The playgroup is based at the old Mondrook school house.

OAM: Manning resident Dr Harry Cooper was recognised on Monday when he was announced as part of the Queen's Birthday Honours List, receiving the Medal (OAM) of the Order of Australia in the General Division.
