Students remember: St Josephs Primary School, Wingham held an Anzac Day Ceremony on Tuesday morning in St Josephs Hall. Federal Member for Lyne Dr David Gillespie attended the special ceremony that served to help students “To remember the spirit and the courage of the Anzacs."

Statement: WINGHAM Beef Exports HR manager, Bob Howarth issued a statement to clarify some facts following media coverage of strike action in Central Park on April 17. 

Celebrations: ON May 20, 1964 a meeting was held in Wingham to form the Manning Valley Historical Society Inc. Fifty years later celebrations will be held to commemorate that event.

Meeting change: DUE to Showground commitments in both the Tea Rooms and The Pavilion, the Wingham Show Society May meeting will now be held at the Wingham Services Club at 7.30pm on Monday May 12.

Rugby League: AFTER winning the pre-season competition, the Wingham Tigers began the Group Three Rugby League competition by defeating the Port Macquarie Sharks at the Wingham Sporting Complex on Saturday afternoon.
