Rehearsals: THE date has been set and rehearsals have begun for the play about pioneer Isabella Mary Kelly. Locals are expected to pack the Town Hall on June 21 to watch a local cast give a voice to Isabella live on stage.The lead role went to Elands local Kath Palmer, a role playwright Maggie Young said Kath is perfect for.
Anzac Day: ANZAC Day will be marked extensively around Wingham this year with a number of services being run, giving everyone in the community the chance to pay their respects to our past and present service men and women.
Carnival: ON the Anzac day weekend Taree Wingham Clay Target Club will host the annual two day shooting carnival. This will begin on Friday afternoon with practice and competition starting on Saturday at 9am. The carnival is due to wrap up on Sunday afternoon. Shooters from all over the State are expected to contest the weekend's events.
