WELCOME Wingham shire to another exciting season of Soccer. The Wingham Ladies team played Pacific Palms on Saturday last at Wingham Sporting complex. The girls won 9-0. Unfortunately for Palms they didn't have a full team. Coach Rick Holden said "I'm very impressed with the team especially their ball control for the first match." Both of the new players Larni McMahon and Claire Bird had a good game.

Premier League Football
Premier League Football starts on Saturday April 12 and marks the beginning of the Premier league competition. Premier league is an 18 round, home and away ten team based competition featuring the highest level of real football in this zone.
The Wingham Warriors will host Taree Wildcats at home at the Wingham Complex in what should be a real local derby. Reserve grade kicks off at 1.15 pm, with the First grade fixture starting at 3pm.
This will be Wingham Warriors Second year in the top grade and we hope to build on where we left off last year with some early form. The playing staff consists of mainly Wingham juniors with a few new players bolstering the ranks, if you were born or live in Wingham you would definitely know these lads.
This year sees us signing on a new reserve grade coach from the Newcastle area. Andrew Maitland joins the coaching staff and brings with him new levels of structure and fitness, and has raised the standard of our players in the short time he has been with us.
Come help Wingham knock over last year's finalists Taree Wildcats in what will be a game of skill and passion. Watch a game of real football where the only tackle is a block tackle, and support the lads who support your local community.
Wingham FC would like to thank Wingham Bowling Club for their sponsorship again this year, we have forged a good partnership in a short time frame. Any players wishing to play Premier league please check us out on our web page Wingham FC closing date is the April 30. For further information please contact Kerry Ihlow on 6553 5123.
