Saturday bowls

DESPITE the weather our pennant players got some practice with our top grade playing against our fives. Our sevens had a game against each other.

The twos were too good for the fives wining all three games. In the other game N Savage, R Trenchard, B Craig and D Hammond had a +10 win over G Williams, T Baker, B Kershaw and S Burnell-Jones. Lucky Mick was in the defeated team but moved aside to let other players get some practice. Maybe the result could have been different if Mick played. A sausage sizzle was enjoyed by all after the games.
