WINGHAM Bluewater Fishing Club president Jack Muxlow welcomed fellow board members with partners, life members and partners and guests to the club's fellowship lunch at the Hibiscus Room to say 'thank you' for their help throughout 2013.

Following pre lunch drinks, president Jack called on wife Pam to say grace before members enjoyed the meal.
President Jack thanked all for their support and made special mention of the Mother Club's retiring president Ron Wilson and a 'little bird' had whispered it was Ron's birthday so he was given a special 'mug' of liquid refreshment from those present to the tune of "Happy Birthday". Many happy returns Ron and there were also a couple of others soon celebrating birthdays including members Neil and Ron - hope you also have a great day.
It was a very relaxed and informal gathering and enjoyed by all 24 folk present.
President Jack wishes to remind members that there will hopefully be an outing this weekend (weather permitting) and during the barbecue weigh in on Sunday the Christmas party for members will be held and just maybe there might even be a visit from 'Mr Santa Claus' in his jolly red suit. Hope to see the kids and parents/grandparents at the final day for 2013.
