AFTER finishing all the club competitions for this year, it was time for a good social round of bowls, and for this event we played "trophy day".
There was yet again, a good roll up of 28 players. Keep it up ladies!

One game of pairs was played and the results was K Carlton (skip), C O'Donnell defeated L Cross (skip), J Nash.
Winners overall plus ends were N Foy (skip), P Weir, D Lewis, J Gosling with a win + 15 ends.
Runners-up were G Bell (skip), N Fotheringham, E Holden, M Hollebone.
Next week December 5
THE match committee has decided to hold a pairs event, mainly for our new bowlers to experience the marking and measuring a bowl in the correct manner.
It's a favourite event for many bowlers!
Special mention
QUARTERLY meeting will be held straight after your lunch and is for all lady bowlers to attend. This is the last meeting for this year.
Christmas party program, December 12: 8.30am start, mufti dress in your Christmas attire, the more colour the better. It's your day to have fun, game of bowls, Dutch auction and a beautiful lunch. Christmas party timetable: 9am morning tea; 9.30am bowls; 11.45am finish to start Dutch action,12.30 lunch followed by the yearly prize presentation.
Reminder
ITEMS for our Dutch Auction and a small wrapped present to the value of $10. It means everyone receives a present at our Christmas party.
