ROLL up, roll up for the greatest shows in Wingham.
Here is your chance to experience some of the best local events for free.
Canteen volunteers are being sought by the Wingham Show Society.
Volunteers will be able to work on a roster basis at the Wingham Showground canteen at various upcoming events.
First up they have the Akoostik festival this weekend, and then the Wingham Campdraft on November 1-3 followed by the mega January Wingham Rodeo.
Volunteers are needed to operate the grill (steak and sausage sandwiches), deep fryer (chips), counter work (pie and sausage rolls), and drinks. Four hour time slots at various times and days are available to suit volunteers.
"Our aim is to continue to provide quality food at family prices. So step up and help us make this canteen a community effort," president of the Wingham Show Society, James McCarthy said.
The society is looking forward to hearing from you and don't forget that canteen volunteers get to experience these events for free and they also feed you. You will need to contact the Wingham Show Society prior to these events, as they will have to organise gate passes.
For more information, contact the new canteen supervisor Kylie Hokin by phone on 0448 590 803 after noon each day, or through the Wingham Showground Canteen facebook page or you can send Kylie an email on firstname.lastname@example.org
