THE competition shoot was conducted from the 300 metres range, and despite the lovely spring day and haze free conditions, the scoring was generally down due to ammunition problems, and equipment malfunctions.
The new electronic targets were working well with club members becoming more comfortable using them.
A Grade was won comfortably by Tony Moon with a score of 97.8, followed by Jim Blackmore on 90.6
B Grade was won by Max Purnell, who had a superior first round of 50.5 then problems with equipment spoiled his second round for a total of 97.6 followed by Chris Barnard of 90.2.
F Class Open was taken out by Wilf Wright on 110.3.
F Class A Grade was won by Phil Costa who had a first round of 54.2, and then rallied for a stunning second round of 58.4 for a total of 112.6, followed by Tracey Anderson 106.3, Mike Rogerson on 105.3, and then Bev Rogerson on 102.5.
F Class B Grade was won by junior Todd Barnard on 69, with Gordon Higgins retiring after one round due to ammunition problems.
The handicap trophy was won by Phil Costa.
