MANNING Valley Neighbourhood Services is holding a car boot sale on Saturday, September 21 on the site adjacent to the old courthouse community centre and grounds, 4 Farquhar Street, Wingham from 8-1pm.
There will also be an open day at the community gardens with a barbecue breakfast from 8am prepared by Wingham Rotary Club.
Lots of activities are planned including a garden workshop ($5 donation), launch of the 'Pumpkin Patch Project,' pre-loved clothes stall, seedling and plant sales and activities for children – come and make your own scarecrow ($5 donation).
The car boot sale and garden open day is a fundraising event organised by the Manning Valley Neighbourhood Services.
Funds raised will go toward sustaining the community gardens and the community kitchen which seeks to address issues of poverty, health, education, socialisation and employment opportunities.
