It was a very close game all the way with only one shot the difference.
The score was 17-16 and the winners were Lillian Cross (skip) and her team of Gwen Bell (third) Laurelle Dennes (second) and Jill Gosling (lead) who defeated Narelle Foy (skip), Claudia O’Donnell (third), Elaine Holden (second) and Di Lewis (lead).
On the 18th end Lillian’s team were one shot ahead 13-12.
Narelle’s team dropped a nasty four on 19th end, only to pick up three shots on next end and one on the 21st end.
But it was the 18th end that proved the winner of this match in hindsight that is.
Congratulations to the winners in a closely fought game.
