THE semi-finals of the Lorraine and Milton Sky Minor Singles produced two excellent games of bowls at Wingham Bowling Club.
Alan Cox again produced his trademark draw bowls to account for Rod Trenchard 33-25. This game was always tight with the scores level on the 21st, 23rd and 27th ends, but Alan gained control over the final eight ends.
Daniel Leadbeater overcame a gallant Barry Kershaw 31-24. After six ends Barry led 6-3 but Daniel then took control and despite Barry getting to within two shots on the 28th end, Daniel ran out a deserving winner.
The final will be played on Saturday, August 10. Good luck Alan and Daniel.

Next Saturday will see seven rinks of the Club Triples and should produce a great day of bowls. Please note all bowls in creams.
