The Thursday women’s district comp is well underway at Wingham Tennis Club.
Wingham has two teams in divisions one and two. The Wingham division one team members are Rachel Bartlett, Jeanie Baker, Dianne Morris, Helen Lambert and Jenny Polley.
They came up against a very strong Forster division one team which won 8-0.
Wingham’s division two Gundy’s Girls team members are Jenni Hooper, Toni Bishop, Joanne Henwood, Kym Moore and Barbara Hall.
Wingham’s division two were too strong for Forster and won 6-2.
Both teams played at the Wingham tennis complex.
