Former rugby league great John “The Bomber” Peard brought the house down during the Wingham Rugby League Football Club’s annual presentation on Saturday night.
The Tigers celebrated its season at the Wingham Bowling Club and awarded its top players.
Joel Wilson from the under 18s took out the prestigious David Steel Memorial as the player of the year for all grades.
Another highlight was the awarding of life membership to an emotional Harry Rider (pictured right).
