John Carlyle's Matsubayashi Ryu Karate Association of Australia will be the sale hosts of Sensei Fred Christian (7th Dan) and Sensei Bob Siebert (6th Dan) from Belleville, Illinois, America.

Sensei Fred Christian is the membership director for the World Matsubayashi Ryu Karate Association, he is an inspirational sportsman – overcoming polio which affected his left leg to excel in a number of sports.

They will be staying in Wingham for two weeks of intense training of the members of the association to bring them up to international students required.

The men last visited four years ago to establish a branch in Australia and stayed in the Manning Valley at that time.

During that visit they made John Carlyle Australian Chief Instructor and he has been busy since then training up students to test for Black Belt during their impending visit.

John Carlyle began classes in 1975 in the Church of Christ Hall and now teach in Wingham, Cundletown and the Taree PCYC.
