Slammin’ Sam the top gun

03 Aug, 2010 01:34 PM
WINGHAM Tennis Club juniors Sam Ludeke and Ewen Adamson competed magnificently in the Medibank Junior Development series champions of champions tournament held in Grafton, with Sam taking out the under 16s boys title.

Both Sam and Ewen were invited by tennis NSW to compete against the best juniors in the north east region of New South Wales.

Sam now qualifies to play against the best juniors in the north western division of NSW. The next tournament is held in Inverell later this month. If Sam is successful he will progress to Sydney.

Ewen battled hard to finish 11th in the boys under 14 years. Ewen impressed all and won the award for best sportsmanship in his age division.

Grace Johnson from Taree played very well and exceeded expectations by finishing ninth in the under 14s girls.
