The Wingham C-grade cricketers scored a 64-run victory against Forster at the Ken Malpass field in round four of the Manning River District Cricket Association competition.
Wingham batted first and scored 168, with Scott Blanch (59) and Aaron Watson (53) scoring the bulk of the home side runs.
Forster got its run chase off to a good start with B Kessey and T Riley putting on a 40-run opening partnership before Scott Blanch snared the wicket of Riley for 22 and then Blanch had Brown LBW for a duck eight runs later.
Sam Power was then introduced into the Wingham attack and produced a fine spell of bowling taking four for 14 from six overs.
Jeremy Bartier chimed in for two wickets and, with the score on 104, Tyler Atkins snared his first senior cricket wicket when John Kessey holed out in the deep to hand Wingham a comfortable 64-run win.
Wingham takes on Wallamba this week at Taree Rec Ground 3.
