A WINGHAM man is due to reappear in the Taree Local Court next month after being charged with possessing child pornography.
Lionel Filewood, 74, turned himself in to police last week after computer repairers allegedly found pornographic images on his laptop.
Officers raided the house and say they found more than 400 child pornography images on Filewood's computers.
He was granted conditional bail and is due to appear in court again on April 6.
