Window to the Pretty Place

02 Mar, 2010 12:16 PM
LITERARY fans will have the opportunity to get face-to-face with Manning author Joy Bell during a book signing in Wingham next week.

Joy’s debut novel ‘The Pretty Place’ - a romantic drama set in the Manning-Great Lakes - has been a smash hit throughout the local region since its release in November last year.

To thank her fans in the Upper Manning, Joy will be at Books 2 in Bent on Life at 2pm on Wednesday March 10 for a special book signing.

“I’ve had a fantastic reaction to the book,” Joy said. “People have been incredibly supportive. This is just a chance to meet some fans and say thankyou personally.”

This will be the first book signing event for Books 2 in 2010.

Renowned Manning author Di Morrisey twice held signings at the Isabella Street venue last year.
