Musical morning aids hearing centre

03 Nov, 2009 11:45 AM
Music will be used to aid hearing impaired children at a fundraiser later this month.

Wingham will host a special family fun day to raise funds for the Cochlear Implant Centre.

The musical morning will be held from 10am at the Wingham Hotel (bottom pub) on Saturday, November 14.

Entry is $5 per person with tea, coffee and lunch available.

Musical artists will come from far and wide to support the cause.

The sounds will be in a predominantly country style with local artists and special guests including Felicity Machin, Swingshift, the Tamworth Boys, Mike Casey and Kerry Walsh.

Other items and entertainment will include a lucky door prize, raffles, auction and a display of big boys toys.

The event will be run in conjunction with the monthly Wingham Markets.

For more information, phone Royce Everingham on 0408 850 620 or Dawn Stone 6553 4626.
