The Wingham Chamber of Commerce will unveil its plans to beautify the central business district at a public meeting later this month.
The community is invited to attend the meeting in the Wingham Services Club auditorium on Tuesday, July 28, and have their say.
A subcommittee of the chamber has been developing a plan for the past three years with landscape architect Pam Fletcher and Greater Taree City Council representatives.
Wingham architect Carolyn McFarland and environmentalist John Stockard have also been consulted as the plan was formulated.
The plan aims to make shopping in Wingham a more attractive and comfortable experience for customers.
The plans hope to draw visitors into the town and create an ambience which will encourage them to stay longer and support other businesses.
