The Manning club has two teams competing.
Members Richard Wilson and Bill Storok from Stewarts River, plus Harrington’s Trevor Sheehan will form the Trevor Weekes Memorial team.
Glen, Taree’s Gary Tonkin and Forster man David Turner are the second team.
Bruce Harrison will also be an independent entrant in a restricted section of the championships.
The championships has five elements; areobatics, forced landing, formation flying, spot landing and streamer cutting with points awarded from a maximun of 100 per event.
”I’ve got a fair bit of practice in over the past few months, so I’m quietly confident,” Glen said. “All of the boys who are competing are very strong, so our chances of bringing something home are good.”
