 Dutch auction a hit

Dutch auction a hit

09 Mar, 2010 12:22 PM
WINGHAM Citizens Centre was alive with activity last Friday during what was a hugely successful Dutch auction.

The event was organised by Freemasons Working for Charity, with more than 120 people taking part in festivities.

It seemed as though there was something for everyone at the auction: power tools, radios, fruit and vegetables, meat, linen, craft and vouchers for various local stores.

Co-ordinator James Burden said he was extremely pleased with the turnout. All money raised on the day was donated to Senior Citizens Care and Vision Australia.
