Campdraft this weekend

03 Nov, 2009 10:47 AM
About 700 head of cattle will make their way from Cooplacurripa to the Wingham Showground this weekend for the Wingham November Campdraft.

About 100 contestants are expected to compete in 630 rides.

Riders will travel from Kempsey, Scone, Singleton and Maitland to take on each other and the local contingent.

Spectators are welcome to come and see the action.

Entry is free and the food kiosk and bar will be operating.

Gates open 8am Saturday and Sunday.

The campdraft replaces the November rodeo, held this time last year.

Find the showground in Gloucester Road.
